In the meantime...

Hey guys!!

How are you?? What are you doing on a wednesday afternoon??
I'm working on my patchwork blanket. I just want to inform you a little bit what's going on and how far I am...
Have a look:

This are all my small and big Granny Squares for my patchwork blanket. In the meantime I have 10 big ones and 75 smaller ones.

These are the patterns I use for the blanket: a very simple one and the Sunburst Granny Square pattern.
I want to make a completely colorful blanket until the end of this year. So I have to make at least 356 squares... I already have 85 so I think I'm still in the race :D  Who knows, but maybe til the end of the year I get more than 356... That would be gorgeous!!!

What about you?? Are you also working on a blanket or a other big project?? Let me hear about it!!

Hundepulli...

Hallo meine Lieben!!

Wie geht's, wie steht's??
Vor einigen Tagen hat mich ien Bekannter gefragt, ob ich für seinen Hund nicht einen Pulli stricken könnte. Natürlich war ich gleich davon begeistert und damit einverstanden. Mit seiner Hilfe habe ich dann den kleinen Chihuahua von Kopf bis Fuß abgemessen. Dann hab ich noch Wolle besorgt und mich gleich ans Stricken gemacht.

Das ist die rote Wolle für das Hundemädchen. Für diese sehr sehr dicke Wolle verwende ich Stricknadeln der Stärke 8mm. Das wird also ein Winterpulli...

Angefangen hab ich schon mal...

Bis noch sieht es etwas verzogen und komisch aus, aber das ist ja auch erst der Anfang und der Pulli ist noch lange nicht fertig. Wie ihr sehen könnt mache ich auf dem Rücken ein einfaches Zopfmuster, damit das Ganze zumindest ein wenig verziert ist.
Jetzt heißt es aber erstmal abwarten, denn um sicher gehen zu können, ob das bisher produzierte Stück schon passt, muss ich es nochmal am lebenden Objekt nachmessen. Ich muss also warten, bis ich meinen Bekannten mit Hundemädchen Kayo wieder sehe. Bis dahin muss das gute Stück ruhen...

Und wenn es dann soweit ist, dann werde ich euch ganz bestimmt darüber informieren.

Zweimonatiges Jubiläum! 2 months of blogging!

Hallöchen!! Hey my friends!!

Heute haben wir was zu feiern und zwar dass es diesen Blog nun schon seit 2 Monaten gibt. Und vorallem auch, dass dieser Blog in dieser so kurzen Zeit so viel Resonanz bekommen hat. Damit habe ich überhaupt nicht gerechnet und bin komplett überrascht...

Today we celebrate two months of blogging!! My first blogging anniversary... :D I didn't expect that big reaction but I'm really happy about it. I had never thought that so many people on this planet are at least a little bit interrested in my yarn addiction...

Ich möchte mich hiermit für all die Seitenaufrufe und Kommentare bedanken!
I want to thank for all the views of my blog and for all the comments!

My finished selfmade bag...

Hey guys!!!

I can't belive it!!! My selfmade bag is finished!! It took me just a few days of hard work and now I have a beautiful new handmade bag... It overwhelms me.... I'm so happy :D
As you already now, the outside is completely knitted. For the inside I used a cotton fabric. I also sewed a little pocket for keys or some other small stuff.
Okay, lets have a look:

This is my new bag. Isn't it just beautiful?? You can see that I used some leather laces to keep the cover closed.

But as you can see I used a zipper as well, so I affirm that I don't lose my things.

In the third picture you can see the inside of my bag. I made a little pocket where I can put my keys, so I always know where they are and I don't have to search them. I secured the little pocket with a button.

This is the back of the bag.

Here you can see the pattern I used for the back. It's called seed stitch and it looks really nice although it is only the back.

This is again a picture from the front pattern. As you already know it is called Rick Rack Rib. For me this is one of the most beautiful patterns I know!!

Okay, and here again a picture of the finished project. I like it :D
This is my first selfmade bag, so I'm a little proud of myself that it worked that good. I did not expect a that good product... Okay, enough enthusiasm...

Selfmade bag...

Hi my friends!!

How are you?? What's the weather like?? Here in South Tyrol it's snowing!! It's even snowing in the bigger cities, that's awesome!!
A few days ago I decided to knit myself a bag. I want to have a bag to use it as a purse or as a bag for yarn and needles when I'm on the way. After looking for some patterns I found a super cute pattern which I want to show you.

In the picture above you can see the front part of the bag. It's already finished. Now I'm working on the back part.

I have to tell you about my favourite absolutly loved pattern... I'm really in love with it, it's so gorgeous!!!

It's called Sunburst Flower Granny Square, I don't know if you already know it, but for me this pattern is the most beautiful pattern I know...
Okay, maybe I'm freaking out a little bit... :D

Süßes Muster...

Hey Leute!!

Ich hab voll ein süßes Strickmuster gefunden...

Sehen diese "Kaffeewärmer" nicht super niedlich aus??? Ich hab das dann mal gleich ausprobiert:

Das ist ganz einfach. Man muss nur eine Maschnanzahl teilbar durch 4 plus noch 4 Maschen anschlagen. Ihr beginnt mit einer Randmasche, 2 linke Maschen, 2 rechte Maschen, 6 linke Maschen, dann 2 linke Maschen... 2 rechte Maschen, 6 linke Maschen, 2 rechte Maschen solange wiederholen, bis ihr mit 2 linke Maschen und einer Randmasche endet. Wenden. Auf dieser seite nun alles verkerht abstricken. Damit meine ich, dass auf eine rechte Masche eine linke Masche kommt und auf eine linke Masche eine rechte. Insgesamt 3 Reihen stricken. Dann wird das Muster um 4 Maschen versetzt.
Ich glaube, wenn ihr euch das Foto ein bisschen genauer ansieht, dann könnt ihr bestimmt erkennen was ich meine.
Am Ende sieht das dann wie gewebt aus...
Ich finde das Muster einfach super!!! Mal sehen was ich so daraus mache...
